Kevin Conroy
Chairman
Kevin Conroy is an award-winning media and technology innovator, board member,
advisor, entrepreneur, and investor, with an extensive background driving meaningful transformation at the intersection of content, media, and technology. Selected to
AdAge’s “Marketing 100,” honoured at Broadcasting & Cable’s Annual Technology Leadership Awards, recognised by Broadcasting & Cable as a Digital All-Star, on
CableFAX’s Digital Hot List, lauded as one of Digital Media Wire’s 25 Executives to
Watch, awarded membership in the CDO Club Hall of Fame, and included in Washington Life’s Tech Hall of Fame.
Kevin previously held senior roles at AOL, Univision and MGM Studios where he was President, Digital & New Platforms, where he oversaw all initiatives for new and
emerging platforms for the company, utilizing MGM’s Studios’ vast catalogue as well
as originally scripted content.
Kevin has also served on the boards of many major corporations including Debenhams
and Sotheby’s.
John Warrington
Founder & CEO
John started his career in 1979 at Brent Walker Films before joining indie sales agent
J&M Film Entertainment. It was at Capricorn Communications though, where he began working as a producer and director and he has produced programming for broadcasters including Sky, Channel 4, and Fox Sports. He is perhaps best known for his 2007 documentary, Hatton Mayweather - The Full Story.
After five years at Showtime as head of sports production, John joined satellite
broadcaster FSTV as director of original programming overseeing its sports and entertainment output.
In 2017, John founded Krafty Entertainment, and is now overseeing the production of a
new slate of films and documentaries as well as advising on content acquisition
strategy as part of Krafty's expanision into digital distribution. When he takes an
occasional day off, you will more than likely find John at Old Trafford supporting his
beloved Manchester United.
Jorg Nowak
Director
Based in Berlin, Jorg is a valued media innovator, board member, advisor, &
entrepreneur, with an extensive background driving transformation at the
intersection of business development, revenue generation, sales, technology, and marketing. His career is defined by taking calculated risks, cultivating relationships,
& steering c-suite leader decision making.
Between 2013 & 2020, Jorg was appointed CRO Global at YuMe /RhythmOne after
holding Vice President roles for emerging markets and international operations.
Earlier, Jorg was SVP, General Manager and SVP, Business Development & Strategic Planning for Univision Interactive Media where he introduced a mobile division, ad
network unit, and negotiated large scale technology deals as well as programming
deals with Televisa, RCN, MGM Latin America, Dorimedia, and Endemol.
Matthew Baxter
Non-Executive Director
Matthew is co-Founder & Managing Director at Stellwagen Ventures. He was previously President of Dugout Ltd. Inc., a leading football content platform and media services creative agency. At Dugout, he launched a platform that delivers more than 400MM eyeballs to the world’s biggest brands.
Prior to Dugout, Matthew served as Chief Media Officer on the board of Liverpool
Football Club. He was responsible for developing, orchestrating and monetising a successful digital transformation of the club’s media and TV operations.
Earlier on, Matthew worked as EU Marketing Director at Warner Brothers International developing and managing the successful launches of a multitude of TV and movie properties. In addition, he worked at Disney and was part of FOX studios helping to
scale platform sales, distribution, development and growth across all of Europe.
Tony Woodcock
Board Advisor
After a stellar professional football career spanning almost 20 years with Nottingham Forest, 1 FC Cologne, Arsenal and England, Tony is one of Nottingham Forest’s famous ‘Miracle Men’, winning the league tile, two league cups and two European Cup winners medals. He also won 42 caps for England scoring 16 goals for his country.
After retiring, Tony put his experience, reputation and entrepreneurial brain to good
use in the sport, business and education sectors. He has a strong background in TV
and media and represents professional sports people before, during and after their careers come to an end. Tony has worked on a number of productions for Krafty Entertainment
as an Executive Producer.
With an extensive network across football and other sports, Tony has a key role in
placing talent with our productions.
